Talk about feeling the mood at Man United right now…
Every Monday Juan Mata posts an update on his blog.
Mata has always reacted to the weekend’s results on his blog, however the Spanish midfielder has taken a break after the Southampton match last weekend.
His latest super-short update is titled “Not the time for posts”. Mata has written the following:
Unfortunately, I feel as though it isn’t the time for posts. I imagine, and understand completely, that you will not want to read words that, although honest, won’t be of much comfort to you.
Therefore, I am only going to publish this to thank you all, as ever, for your support. Thanks a lot.

Manchester United are back in Premier League action on Arsenal on Wednesday. Arsenal will arrive at Old Trafford in high spirits following their 4-2 win over Tottenham in the north London derby.
Man United may have significant selection problems for the Arsenal match.Ashley Young is suspended for the game after he collected his fifth booking of the season at Southampton.
Man United also have problems in attack.Alexis Sanchez is injured, Romelu Lukau also picked up an injury at Southampton, while there are doubts over Marcus Rashford. At the back United also have plenty of headaches.
Marcos Rojo is currently sidelined with injury, as are Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly. Elsewhere, Matteo Darmian is also on the injury table, while Victor Lindelof has a thigh problem which is set to keep him out of action for several weeks.
I’m not so sure Juan, I’d much rather read one of your posts than watch us play football at the moment!
