How Betty Kyallo became Kenya’s media sweetheart

The Queen of Media Betty Kyalo will soon be back in action although she has not revealed the exact date of this TV comeback.

Betty Kyallo who has a huge following has made fans admit that they will be shifting to the station that  she will be  working for after quiting KTN media. Which serves the purpose.

According to local business news site Business Today, Betty is joined Media Max LTD  in a bid to grow their K24 numbers. Online sources say that K24’s viewership has been in the decline, with its ratings dropping over the years to below top five stations in Kenya.

Perhaps with a huge following and her experience in the industry,  the high-ranking news anchor is ready to make a difference and of course she will.

Although fans have complained that K24 is not quite their piece of cake but they will be watching Betty Kyallo’s new segment ‘ WeekendWith Betty’.

It is a ‘Where you will go.. we will go’ kind of situation and Kenyan are looking forward to the new energy. Our Weekends will not be the same.

Kenyans have shown  their excitement and hype which equal with that of the Tv anchor. The ancho over the years has built and secured her brand as a principled woman who knows her job and clearly it suits her.

The news of her resignation from the local Tv station hit the social media platforms  towards the end of August and a farewell party was done for her later in September.

Betty Kyalo is one of the media queens who have been in the industry for years and how she takes up her roles is quite fascinating and lovable.

Wonder if there is anyone who has watched her and failed to notice her professionalism and enthusiasm in her job. The news anchor has become the media’s sweetheart over time for her nose in news, character as well as her sense of humour.

A a mixture of it all is what makes her the ‘badass’ media personality that she is.

Betty Kyalo joins in the long list of anchors who quit  from KTN  which lost prime news presenter and talk show host Yvonne Okwara, Kiswahili reporter Mashirima Kapombe and managing editor Joe Ageyo to their rival media house.

The celebrated news anchor is loved for her personality both in her work circles as well as her outgoing character.
