De Gea states new demands for his future at Manchester United

Any bad news that all Manchester United fan does not want to hear right now is De Gea leaving. The goalkeeper has been vital in the surviving of Manchester United despite a very poor start of the season.

The saves the goalkeeper has pulled so far have placed him on the international scale being ranked among the best goalkeepers in the world of football right now.

But now his future with the Red Devils is being held by a peg. Will he really consider extending his contract with Manchester United?

According to The Sun, De Gea wants to know whether Jose Mourinho will be in charge next season before agreeing to a longer extension. Aside from the fact that De Gea is already committed for next year, the story doesn’t suggest which answer the keeper would prefer.

De Gea would also like his terms to match the club’s highest earners and, let’s be honest, it’s hardly unreasonable for the club’s player of the year in four out of the last five seasons to expect the same wages as Alexis Sanchez. That move continues to go swimmingly, by the way…

Juventus are one of the clubs being linked with De Gea and the Serie A champions will wait for a year and a half if need be because they just love a freebie.

In the meantime, the Old Lady has got eyes on a couple of bargains for next summer. Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is apparently their top target and The Sun reckons they are willing to offer the Wales star £200,000 a week over four years.

If for some reason Ramsey doesn’t fancy that, then Juve will turn to PSG’s Adrien Rabiot. One problem: they are a bit late to the party. The France international is also wanted by Man City and Liverpool but it seems most likely that the 23-year-old will don one of two things: sign a massive new deal to stay at PSG, or move to Barcelona.
