Journey to Canaan, Anyang’ Nyong’o names Uhuru.

The handshake will shock you. If you thought you have heard enough of the handshake revelations then wait more is still to come.

The most unexpected political stunts have been pulled by the re-union of Raila Odinga and The President Uhuru Kenyatta. Whatever was seen as impossible is becoming possible under the spirit of the handshake. People are getting big appointments, new political allies are being found.

The handshake will surprise you.

Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o on Friday, November 23, sent a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta asking him to run for a third term as the president of Kenya. Nyong’o, asked First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, who had visited the county, to tell the president that Kenyans were waiting for him to present his nomination papers again.
The governor was speaking during the launch of elimination of mother-to-child transmission (eMTCT) campaign by the First Lady in Kisumu He made the remarks although constitutionally, the President is supposed to leave office after serving two five-year terms. “In 2007, when I was the ODM secretary general, Kenyans waited to see the President present his nomination papers but he never did as the rest presented theirs, Kenyans were hoping that President Uhuru Kenya will accept,”said Nyong’o.
The governor went on to praise the March 9 handshake between Uhuru and the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga, noting it brought peace to a country.
Nyongo’s requets comes even after Uhuru dismissed debate about his political future after 2022, saying he will retire when his second and final term ends. The president told CNN’s Richard Quest during an interview that he was not interested in a third term.
This is one of the most unexpected move that has never been anticipated. Maybe that asserts the saying that politics is a dirty game.
Last elections Uhuru was not even welcomed in Kisumu county but right now is Kisumu’s darling.
