Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed who he prefers out of Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho.
The Reds are currently enjoying an unbeaten start to the new Premier League season, only two points behind leaders City and ten points clear of United, who are eighth.
Klopp has enjoyed his rivalries with both Guardiola and Mourinho, but the German thinks Guardiola is “the best coach”.
In a quickfire Q&A with Sky Germany, the former Dortmund boss was asked who he prefers between Guardiola and Mourinho, he replied: “Pep Guardiola.”
When asked to explain his decision, Klopp added: “It’s not about better.
“I think Pep is the best coach in the world. So you could have asked me any other name. It’s not about a comparison with Jose, Pep is doing alright.”
