Wasafi Festival is now the talk of town as grand plans have been set ahead of the event. Team Wasafi announced that the event is open and all are welcomed to take part. Diamond Platinumz Bongo rival; Ali Kiba announced that he will be sponsoring part of the event with his energy drink after Diamond sent him an invitation.
The line up of artists that will be performing during that occasion are all the WCB artists who are celebrated artists in the country and beyond. Recently, the Nigerian Star Mr Eazi, spoke to Harmonize and revealed that he will attend one of the Wasafi Events.
The event is set to officially begin on the 24th of November and will be held in Tanzania before team WCB brings the Festival to Kenya.
The Wasafi Festival was officially launched last year but was only an event that was held in the Tanzanian circles. This year, however, Diamond Platinumz announced that it will be an event that will spread across different countries.
Wasafi Festival 2018 will be held at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi, on 31st of December and the artists who will make it lit on this day are; Diamond Platinumz, Mbosso, Harmonize, Rayvanny, Queen Darleen, LavaLava among others.
This festival will also enable the organizers to hold competitions to identify talent and have an initiative to offer support as a way off giving back to the society.
The relationship between the Nigerian Star and WCB artists has been good and although they have not had any collabo, the team might decide to work on something major.
This could be the beginning. As the Wasafi Team has been advertising it, they believe that the Wasafi Festival will be the day of revolution in the music industry.
Speaking after the conversation they had with Mr Eazi, Harmonize said that they are hyped up by the news and are looking forward to share the stage with the team.
