LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not accepted any offer to join AC Milan, the club has confirmed.
The American side has rubbished reports that Ibrahimovic is set to join the Serie A outfit after agreeing to a move.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport emerged that the former Manchester United ace has accepted a six-month contract to return to Milan, with an option to extend the deal a further a year.
However, ESPN FC reports that the club’s spokesman has confirmed via text that the reports were false. The 37-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Galaxy in March which won’t expire until December 2019.
Ibrahimovic netted 22 goals in 27 appearances for Galaxy in 2018 but failed to lead the team to the MLS Cup Playoffs in what was a disappointing first season at the club
