Manchester United reach agreement to sign youngster

Manchester United are looking to bolster their attacking options with one for the future after reportedly reaching an agreement to sign Noam Emeran from Amiens.

The 16-year-old joined Amiens U19 last year and has impressed for the French outfit with stellar performances that have caught the eye of a host of English Premier League clubs. According to L’Equipe, the France Under-16 international agreed a deal to join Manchester United.

The report adds that United are set to wrap up the teenager’s signing in the coming months as they are keen not to hamper his development.

Emeran is a versatile forward that can be deployed either on the wing or as an out and out striker. The young forward once noted in an interview his admiration of Manchester City ace Leroy Sane, “I have no model player in the [Amiens] first-team, but I really like the style of Gael Kakuta. More generally, I admire Leroy Sane.

“My ambition is to be able to be professionally one day and to win titles, but school remains the most important thing for now If there is no school, there is no football.”
