Club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lordvick Aduda told Nation Sport on Friday that the former Posta Rangers tactician will lead the club in the meantime as they prepare for the busy 2018/2019 season which kicks off with a Caf Champions League preliminary round tie against Malawi’s Nyasa Bullets.
Kerr resigned from his position as the club’s head coach on Thursday and is set to take up a new job elsewhere.

“We already have an assistant coach who has been preparing the team even before the Everton trip, he is even resumed training for preseason with them,” Aduda said.
“We’ve a pool of CVs that the technical committee will sit and come up with a shortlist but we hope to tackle it as soon as possible so that we’ve a new man at the helm sooner.”
