“We want action.. as for these words we have heard them for the longest time..”these are the sentiments of Kenyans who have today reacted to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks in regard to the National Youth Service officials, involvement in corrupt dealings.
Kenyatta was speaking during the National Youth Service Pass Out parade and promised that no corrupt officials will be will go unpunished.
“No individual will get away with embezzling public resources. Everyone who has pocketed funds meant for empowering our young men and women at the National Youth Service must be held accountable. We have invested for the development of this nation, not for self gain” Kenyatta said
President Kenyyatta said that the government has invested for the development of this nation, and not for self gain..
“We do not champion the cause of youth opportunity and hope as a favour to them, but rather as the necessary, undeniable, embrace of our collective future. That’s why we’re called to give each of our children the chance to make the most of their talents” he noted
Although the President’s words come off with intention and zeal, Kenyans have today demanded for action instead of the empty promises.
@UKenyatta His Excellency, transform your words in to deeds to save our beloved nation. We’re no better economically. Lift your real sword to guillotine the culprits to end the current self-indulge economic doldrums..
