Migori Governor was on Thursday arraigned in Kibera law courts over the 8 guns that were recovered in his homes both in Nairobi and Migori.
Obado was matched to the court under tight security and all doors locked to allow the hearing of the case.
The police want Obado to be detained for 10 more days to allow further ballistic investigations to establish if the guns owned by Obado were acquired legally or illegally.

The guns was after the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of kenya(EACC) obtained a court order that allowed them to search all Obado homes.
Obado was alleged to be involved in the embezzlement of Migori county funds through his family members. The EACC was looking into the matter where Obado is alleged to have registered a number of companies under his family members names.
Also some other report indicated that Obado owns a multi-million casino firm in Australia. His children have also been linked to be the beneficiaries of Obado’s embezzlement scheme.
Earlier on Obado under the company of the Deputy President William Ruto had requested the country to pray for him as the crocodiles wanted to swallow him alive.
