Manchester United talks with De gea stall despite splashing of clash

Manchester United are at deadlock over a new contract with David De Gea, despite offering him £275,000 per-week.

De Gea’s current deal runs out in the summer but the club have a clause to trigger an extra 12 months should they fail to negotiate an extension.

But the Telegraph report that United are no closer to agreeing terms on a new deal with Spain No 1.

De Gea is said to be worried about Manchester United’s progress on the pitch and concerned with their ability to compete for trophies.

De Gea could go in the coming summer if a new deal can’t be agreed with United in danger of losing him for another 12 months later.
