Huddersfield Town Fan Memorial Returns at Southampton match

They are not doing this for the first time!! It turns out to be the fifth time. Can you imagine a team giving its fans a chance to remember their fallen colleagues? Huddersfield Town will once again give supporters the chance to remember their loved ones who have passed away during 2018 at the Premier League game against Southampton on Saturday 22 December 2018.

Before kick-off and at half-time in Town’s final home game of the year, the Big Screen will display images of those supporters who are sadly no longer with them.

Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Services Manager Robyn Kennerdale commented:

“This will be the fifth season that we’ve ran the Fan Memorial and it has always been well received by both home and away supporters.

“We are looking forward to the Southampton match, as it gives everyone a chance to reflect on the year and remember all those Town fans we have sadly lost.”

“If you know of a Town fan who has passed away during the last 12 months who you would like to be remembered in this way, please send an email including the person’s name, a good quality photo of them in JPEG format and a maximum of 20 accompanying words to adam.tomlinson@htafc.com.”

“Please note that, depending on available space, the text is subject to editing.”

The images and text will be displayed on the Big Screen at the Southampton game on Saturday 22 December and will be printed in the ‘The Terrier’ match day programme.

The deadline for inclusion is 5pm on Friday 7 December 2018.

However, fans have been told to take note that any emails received after the set deadline will not be included.
