Nonsense! EACC has no jurisdiction over guns , Miguna backs Obado

Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on Tuesday staged a five-hour long search across the embattled Migori county boss’ homes in Migori and Nairobi.

However Kenyan politician Miguna Miguna who served as a senior adviser to former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has challenged Kenyan police officers investigating Fidel’s mysterious death when they stumbled upon a stash of 3 rifles, a pistol, bulletproof jacket and about 2000 bullets in his room.

The officers took away the firearms for safekeeping as they carried on with the investigations. Fidel was however a licensed firearms certificate holder, and so the firearms were legally acquired.Image result for okoth obado

Miguna also seems dissatisfied with EACC move to arrest Migori governor over the set of examinations found in his two houses.

Migori Governor Okoth Obado seems not to be getting of the hook .

Governor Obado was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Nairobi after 8 guns were recovered from the raid at his homes in Migori and Nairobi.

Three guns were found in his Migori home while the other 5 were found in Nairobi.

He was moved to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters where is currently being interrogated.

Documents that could aid in an ongoing investigation on Obado’s hand in the misappropriation of Ksh.2 billion county funds were obtained during the operation.
