Barcelona Legend Andres Iniesta wouldn’t be upset if Neymar joined Real Madrid and believes a return to Barcelona would be difficult.
Neymar, 26, joined PSG for a world-record £200m having won eight trophies playing alongside Iniesta at the Nou Camp.
Ever since that move, however, reports have claimed the 26-year-old regrets his decision to leave for the Parc des Princes and would welcome a return to Spain.
Barcelona rivals Real Madrid have frequently been tipped to pursue Neymar – and Iniesta said it would not upset him.
“It wouldn’t hurt me because they are decisions that if they happen, happen. Madrid would reinforce themselves with a unique player,” Iniesta told Cadena Ser.
Asked about Neymar returning to Barcelona, Iniesta added: “I think it’s difficult. Obviously Neymar continues to be one of the best and in any team he would make a difference. But it’s not easy to return.”
