“Talk of the Devil” Obado trapped in the jaws of corruption crocodiles.

Whoever said talk of the devil ,was perfectly right. Don’t look no further Obado is the new victim who has seen the real devil just few hours after talking about it.

Governor Okoth Obado under the umbrella of the Deputy President cried out loud that Kenyans should pray for him the angry crocodiles want to swallow him a live. Prayers were made but it seems his sins are maybe red as scarlet , instead of attracting good tidings what comes forth is just doom.

Maybe his prayers were a mockery to the EACC. Where is the guardian angel DP Ruto to salvage his new political ally Obado?

Anti-graft agency detectives haveĀ  raided homes of Governor Okoth Obado in Nairobi and Migori counties. The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officers have also raided the Migori County government offices.

A team from Nairobi, accompanied by armed security officers, also camped outside Mr Obado’s office but the county boss is currently in his Nairobi home.

Senior staff at the county administration have avoided going into the offices fearing arrests.

“We are here for a major operation…You will see what happens,” said one of the EACC detectives.

Some of the county administration’s chief officers and directors have recorded statements with EACC on corruption matters.

Several others have been charged and their cases are still ongoing.

Details are scanty on what the EACC officers are looking for but they have been investigating the governor over corruption-related issues.

The governor was alleged to have registered a number of companies under his family member names including his wife where he has laundered a lot of money belonging to Migori county.

The governor is believed also to own a multi-million casino in Australia which is under his children.

Earlier this month in an affidavit filed in court, the watchdog claimed that Mr Obado used proxies among them his relatives to siphon Sh2 billion from the coffers of the county government.

EACC claimed that the companies registered by proxies transacted Sh1, 971,179,180 deals exclusively from the county government in a period of three years.

DO YOU THINK OBADO SHOULD PRAY HARDER TO AVOID GOING BACK TO THE CELLS?

WILL THE CURRENT RAID BY EACC HAVE POSITIVE REPORT ABOUT THE CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS?
