Mourinho is planning on selling Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly in January to fund the move for a new central defender, according to a report by The Telegraph.
The United manager has made his feelings clear over the club failing to land the centre back target he was after in the summer and he will go in again for a defender when the market reopens in January.
Mourinho wants to sign a central defender in January, with Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar and Toby Alderweireld, of Tottenham, among the options, and he is believed to be willing to offload Bailly, in addition to Rojo, the report states.
