Arsenal’s boss charm at Emirates revealed

After preserving Unai Emery’s 16-game unbeaten record with a last-gasp equalizer against Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has revealed how the Spanish manager has transformed the club.

Wolverhampton opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Ivan Cavaleiro tapped in from close range after Granit Xhaka’s error.

Mkhitaryan came on as a second-half substitute for Sead Kolasinac and went to salvage a point for Arsenal. Emery’s substitutions worked in the 1-1 draw against Wolves with Aaron Ramsey who came on a substitute providing Mkhitaryan with the goal.

The Armenian revealed how Emery has transformed the club who haven’t tasted defeat since August, “It is not that a big thing has changed. But as well the culture changed a bit in the club and as well outside the club. Now people are believing more in ourselves because we are playing a bit differently. We are giving them confidence and playing the way they want us to play. We are scoring goals, winning games and it is the best feeling for the supporters.”
