The word ‘sponsor’ has risen to fame in recent times in Kenya. Governor Obado in the alleged murder case of his girlfriend Sharon and her unborn baby also helped publicize the word and brought it into more public discussions.
Kenyans on social media are displeased with a Churchill Show camera person for embarrassing an audience member.
This was during the live recording in Thika when the cameraman put on blast a man in the audience as MC Jessy advised the women against dating or getting involved with the good looking men.
He asked them to instead settle for the not so appealing men who will not attract other women.
Disgusted by the cameraman’s actions, some people said that it was downright disrespectful for him or her to embarrass the man.
But Jessy trying to salvage the issue, said that the man looked like a “sponsor” and not the subject matter.

Some Kenyans have asked the comedian to apologize for to the old man for in a way the old man looked ashamed for being referred to as a sponsor.
Struggling to entertain sometimes leads the speakers to talk nonsense.

Although the word may seem to be funny but it turns out to be offensive to other old people who do not subscribe to such behaviors.
