Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his full-time pep talk to his players following the 3-1 loss to arch-rivals Manchester City on Sunday 11th November at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s men opened up a 12 points gap between them and Manchester United after the win and maintained their stay at the top of the table.
Manchester United are now 12 points from table toppers City and 12 points off relegation places.
Speaking to MUTV, Jose Mourinho revealed what he told his players after the loss to City, “So it was not an easy week for us but I just told the players they’re playing much better than before. We are much stronger, we are much more compact. Now we have to not let the defeat disappoint us. Sad, yes, but not too disappointed. In two weeks’ time we play at home against Crystal Palace and, from that game, we have to try to get the points.”
