Kenyans are still recovering from the shameful Gor Mahia lose to Egerton but it looks like there are more wounds as we lost the Safari Sevens finals too, having put our hopes high. Although both Shujaa and Morans put their best foot forward, Samurai got the last laugh, after a 21-14 win over Shujaa saw them crowned the 2018 Safari Sevens Champions.

Kenya’s national sides Shujaa and Morans started off the 3rd day of the 2018 Safari sevens on a good note, qualifying for the semifinal stages of the 2018 Safari Sevens following victories over The Red Wailers and Namibia respectively. Kenya’s Morans beat Spain 12-5 in the 3rd place playoff match, while the National Women’s team, Lionesses, thrashed Uganda 47-0 to win the women’s title.
