Have you seen people criticizing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s merging with opposition chief Raila Odinga? The merging that was witnessed through a handshake on March 9, 2018 at Harambee house has been of good benefit to Kenya.
Recently, Raila Odinga was appointed to the United Nations Commission as the highest representative for infrastructure development in Africa.
A moment later, Raila and his counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta were honored in London for a peace accord award following their handshake. And do you know that Kenya is set to host one of the United Nations Board meeting?
Foreign Affairs CS Monica Juma has welcomed an announcement that Kenya will host 2020 Chief Executives Board meeting of United Nations heads.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres announced this on Friday.

The Board first held its meeting at the UN Office in Nairobi (UNON) in 2011.
UNON is one of the four major UN stations where UN agencies have joint presence and the only one in the Global South. Other UN offices are in New York, Geneva and Vienna.
Will this mark another economic opportunity for Kenya?
