The person who propounded the saying that “politics is a dirty a game,” was so damn right. I think one of the biggest qualities that one must possess to be a successful politician in Kenya is the ability to camouflage.
Kenyan politicians are just experts in the game of changing sides. If they were betting then , they know where to place their bets. At least would have been jackpot winners by now.
Boni Khalwale is one of the those politicians. The design the politicians has transformed it easily tells you that politics in Kenya is close to lie.
From a staunch criticizers of the Deputy President to be his trumpet boy. The former Kakamega is good at reading signs and has proved that he has to be always on the winning side.
Right now Boni Khalwale is rallying behind the Deputy President for his 2022 presidential bid. Khalwale has seen signs of a flower blossoming on DP camp in 2022, and as an early bird he is craving for warm.
Do you think Boni Khalwale has numbers from the Western region?
Most of the Western leaders have expressed their interest to vie for Presidency in 2022. Led by Musalia Mudavadi and Wetangula each of them have their personal interest to be in the state house come 2022.
This keeps the unity of the Luhya Nation at stake as the process of uniting the region requires that all the leaders sing the same chorus to convince the people. But with recent personal interests it means the votes are fragmented.
Boni Khalwale is still an undergo. He does not command massive support across the region but only from a few people a round Kakamega. But the numbers are still minute to fill DP’s table as he has been knocking in the region for their support.
But The Deputy President may still peg on Boni Khalwale support to try and win the support from that region.
