Ronaldo issues a statement after loss to Manchester

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo revealed in a post-match press conference that Manchester United did very little to win and that his team could have won by three or four goals.

Juventus seemed to be headed for another win against Manchester United but late goals by Juan Mata and an own goal by Alex Sandro ensured Jose Mourinho’s men walked away with a victory. Manchester United had three shots on target same as Juventus despite the Italian giants having 12 more attempts on goal. Paulo Dybala and Sami Khedira hit the woodwork with their efforts in both halves.

In a post-match interview with Viasport, Ronaldo noted that Manchester United did very little to win the game, “I was happy for the goal but I am a little bit disappointed. We should’ve won the game easily. Three, four goals. And Manchester didn’t do much, in my opinion. They create two chances, set-pieces, they know the English teams, they are always looking for the set-pieces but we will learn from our mistakes and we are still top of the group.”
