Have you ever done anything crazy in the name of being a die hard fan? During public events where celebrities perform, expect anything mostly from slay queens. From twerking to other levels of craze.
Well, a lady has left fans in stitches, laughter, shock and all sorts of mixed emotions after a video of her forcing herself on Tanzanian Artist Mbosso surfaced.
Mbosso is an artist who is signed under WCB record label and during a concert in Arusha a slay queen could not resist but make advances and trying to seduce him to kiss her.
The ‘hodari’ hit maker has a story to tell… this must have been one of those random incidents that caught him unawares..
The artist is cute no debate… many might have had a crush on him at some point and the slay queen was so determined to get her wish.
In the video, the young lady is given the chance to get on the stage and requests for a selfie with Mbosso. She goes beyond the selfie and stubbornly tries to get a kiss from the artist.
I am not even sure whether during such moments these fans are conscious about what they are doing.
But where does this culture originate from? Is it the artist who tempt their fans by wearing outfits that show off their skin? From ladies to men.. I am sure we have heard stories of fans cheering for male artists to take of their shirts.. is this one of their talents too?
Mbosso in this case was decently dressed and this move by the lady was uncalled for .. she might have a wild obsession from way back.
Sometimes the hype is too much that it can be equated to pure madness or simply obsessions. Fans are hungry and maybe they have been thirsting and almost idolizing these artists for the longest time before they get to meet them ..and when they do.. it becomes a matter of wanting to make history with them or even go to the extent of seducing them.
Relax.. these artists do not even know you and sometimes it is beyond shameful to have your advances publicly turned down or you have to be thrown out of the stage by security personnel.
Mbosso defended himself and struggled to rescue himself from the hands of the admirer. The security people also came in to stop the lady but Mbosso had to calm her with a hug.. ???
The days of sliding into people’s DMs seem to be over and fans have come up with yet another strategy. It has become a ‘ Mnakutana.. mnapambana’ situation and this is not even funny.
People have cried, fainted or even died during concerts for suffering ‘uncontrolled emotions’ and when others who simply had fun leave at the end of the concerts.. the tales are overwhelming.. Could this be some sort of disease?
