Pogba breaks silence after Manchester stripped him off captaincy

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has addressed issues with regards to being stripped of the vice-captaincy

The French international was stripped of the captaincy when United was dumped out of EFL Cup by Derby.

Mourinho said that Pogba will never captain United however he denied that he had fallen out with the former Juventus man. Ahead of their Champions League clash away to Turin, Pogba revealed that he isn’t affected by losing the vice-captaincy.

“It didn’t affect me. I’m still playing and really happy to play. The manager is the one who chooses who is going to be captain. If he takes the armband away, it doesn’t change anything for me. I just want to play, perform and give my best for the team, the fans and the club and that’s it. It didn’t really touch me or affect me,” said Pogba.
