Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has a good relationship with Paul Pogba despite the frosty affair portrayed by the media.
Pogba and Mourinho’s burst ups have been well documented with a public spat recorded by cameras a day after the defeat to Derby County in the third round Carabao Cup.
Pogba was also stripped of the vice-captaincy role after publicly criticizing Mourinho’s tactics following the home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mourinho revealed that what the media report is the complete opposite of their relationship.
“What the press says and another is what Paul says and another is what I say. The press say we have a terrible relationship but some months ago Paul said we gave a typical coach and player relationship. I think he have a good relationship between a coach and a football player.”
