Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that Romelu Lukaku could miss the clash against Manchester City on Sunday 11th November at the Etihad Stadium.
Lukaku picked up a knock in training before the English Premier League encounter against Bournemouth over the weekend.
The Belgian was not included in the traveling party that made its way to Turin for the all-important Champions League clash against Italian giants Juventus. Lukaku has been struggling for form going nine games without a goal for Manchester United.
When asked if Lukaku could return for the Derby clash against City, Mourinho replied.
“Injured for Juventus and we don’t know for Sunday.” The Portuguese manager admitted that the match against Juventus is crucial, “Is not a crucial match for us. I think independent of the result, our next matches against Young Boys and Valencia are the matches that are going to define the qualification in the second position or to go to Europa League.”
