It now seems that the spirit of handshakes is spreading like bush-fire! Is this a preview of more to come in future?
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru spent part of her Tuesday afternoon at the home of Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka who lost his father recently.
This has been termed as a great thing owing that the two have been on completely opposite ends ahead and after the 2017 General Elections. However, the proceedings after the elections have turned to be everyone’s surprise.
In the spirit of brotherhood, I spent the afternoon today condoling with my brother and Leader of the Wiper party, His Excellency Hon. @skmusyoka following the demise of his father. Fathers are anchors whose absence is felt deeply. We had a delightful afternoon of fellowship. pic.twitter.com/ejbP612Gm8

Kenyans were also playing to the tune and they believe that this move showed that the leaders are being national and embracing the spirit of unity that has been spreading fast across the country.
Keep it up that’s the spirit of a good leader, you are my inspiration
