Does Pogba regret quiting Juventus for Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed he doesn’t regret leaving Italian giants Juventus.

The Frenchman joined the Red Devils from Juve in 2016 in a then-world record deal and has been linked with a return to Turin. However, Pogba has poured cold water over a possible return to Juve.

Ahead of United’s meeting with Juventus, Pogba has revealed that he does not regret leaving his former side. Pogba who was reportedly keen to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus in the summer from Real Madrid seems to have put all the speculations of an imminent reunion with Juve to bed.

“Choosing to come back to United, first of all, was my choice. Juve was playing Champions League and Manchester were playing Europa. I don’t regret my choice. I know Manchester in the last few years haven’t been at the top, but I came back to help the team and get them back to the top,” said Pogba.

“We have a lot of goals. For me, it’s not changed, I don’t regret it at all. I’m very happy to come back to United and I’m sure we will come back to the best. I think it’s gone well. The first season we won three trophies. The second year we arrived second and went to the final of the FA Cup.”

“Personally I think it’s been good for me, good for the team, obviously we always expect more and better from ourselves but I think we are on the way. We always can do better, I am happy with my performances and what we achieved in two years,” he added.

Pogba will be leading United against Juventus in a Champions League return match on Wednesday 7th, having lost the first leg by a solitary goal at Old Trafford
