Broke? Murkomen unable to honor pledge after his Gor Mahia bet backfires(VIDEO)

Is Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen facing financial challenges? Well, he may or may not. This follows his failure to own the pledge he had given after betting with Kenya’s rift valley top comedians Propesa.

When Gor Mahia took to United Kingdom to face off Everton in their sport pesa trophy, Propesa asked Murkomen for a challenge in the match.

First, Murkomen had to declare the side he was supporting where he stood with the Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia.

Propesa on the other hand stood firm with Everton and the challenge had to go down. The comedians asked Murkomen to place a bet with them, in that when Gor Mahia manages to trash Everton, Propesa would pick five football clubs in Kenya at donate balls and jerseys to them. When Gor Mahia gets trashed, Murkomen was to pick five football clubs to make the donations to them. Murkomen agreed, and even suggested that they had to pick on ten schools instead of clubs so that young talents in schools could be supported.

Propesa had Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot as a witness alongside a crew of people that were around.

However, Murkomen asked Propesa of what could happen if the teams drew and they agreed that both of them were to donate equally.

Tuesday night came, Gor Mahia got to pitch at Goodison park and were mercilessly brought down on a 4-0 defeat. What next? The task was unto Murkomen to honor the agreement they had made but do you know what?

The Elgeyo Marakwet senator rudely told Propesa in a video that he was not going to honor the pledge. He noted that he was ambushed and with the mobilasation of the people around, he found himself making the decision without thinking into it.

He insists that the decision he made was under influence and declares the bet as officially cancelled. Really? Is he just trying to avoid expenses?
