Kenyans are all up in arms after it emerged that quack doctor Mugo Wa Wairimu has been back in action for a while now after being released on a two million bail previously.
Is this man any different from the conmanship we experience in the society everyday from politicians? Well, largely no! This is an art that Kenyans have experienced everyday largely from the politicians whom they adore. According to journalists Shaban, this behavior by Mugo wa Wairimu is an exact copy of what citizens experience every day from their leaders who focus on hype and divisions rather than development.

What do Kenyans think about this? While all are in agreement is completely inhumane and attracts anger across all in society, it is a challenge to Kenyans to start focusing on all aspects of life even in politics where people are largely taken advantage of by the politicians.
Politicians have mastered the art of conning people by playing with their feelings and capitalizing on their ethnic differences to create a wedge and turn them against one another which is the same art that Wairimu uses to ensure he has a constant supply of customers. He has managed to play innocent while lots of girls run to him in an attempt to get rid of unwanted pregnancy.
Three years ago….
The man was accused of sexually assaulting a patient in 2015 then posing as a doctor. He is now wanted for allegedly operating an illegal clinic in Kayole, Nairobi and even has two employees. James Mugo Ndichu alias Dr Mugo wa Wairimu had his employees arrested in an operation following complaints by Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board. The Flying Squad officers and the board’s CEO Daniel Yumbia led the operation that got the staff members go behind bars on Saturday for operating without required documents.
He said they were looking for Mugo “for questioning” after he was named owner of the clinic. The officers recovered materials they believed were used in procurement of abortions at the clinic. Mr Yego asked for public support to arrest Mugo.

In November 1, 2014, at his then Prestige Healthcare Clinic, Mugo raped is alleged to have raped a woman after giving her four tablets of an unknown drug. Mugo however denied operating a drug shop not registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. He was also charged with employing two unregistered lab technicians and presenting himself as a doctor and purporting to practice medicine while not registered and licenced as a physician.
Mugo was also charged with being in possession and ownership of a radiation device without permit from the Radiation Protection Board.
