Meet the newly crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2018

Talk of beauty with brains, Wabaiya Kariuki  is the new face of Miss Universe Kenya 2018.

Wabaiya Karuiki rubbed off stiff competition from Michelle Opiyo and Elsie Stephen to be crowned the 2018 Miss Universe Kenya.

Ms Wabaiya is expected to  fly the Kenyan flag high in Thailand where Miss Universe 2018 pageant will be held.

Miss Universe Kenya 2018 beauty pageant was held on Sunday 4th at Sankra hotel

It will be the 67th Miss Universe pageant and be held on December 17, 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Kanze Dena’s 25-year-old sister Elsie Stephen was among models who were competing in the 2018 Miss Universe Kenya beauty pageant.

Michelle Opiyo and Elsie Stephen emerged as first and second runners-up respectively. Kanze Dena’s sister took to social media to express her gratitude for emerged 3rd at the prestigious beauty pageant.

“I live a life of favour! Thank you Lord! ??? ,” Elsie Stephen wrote on Instagram after she emerged as second runner-up at the 2018 Miss Universe Kenya pageant.
