Diamond Platinumz has today announced the launch of his radio station under the brand name Wasafi FM. This comes barely a month after the artist asked his fans whether he should implement the idea or not. Clearly we all know what team won, and now Wasafi FM is up and running.
The WCB boss Diamond Platinumz launched this radio station during a press conference that was held today by the Wasafi Tv officials. During the press conference, Diamond spoke on the Wasafi Festival and also went ahead to mention the channels through which fans can listen to the programs on his radio station.
The channel is accessible on 88.9, both in Dar Es Salaam and in other neighboring regions.
Through this channel, Diamond has assured fans of entertainment that will be different and unique from any other station that people are used to.
The WCB CEO Diamond Platinumz already has a TV channel which officially started the broadcasting from April of this year.
The launch of this radio station, similar to the TV channel will also be a source of employment to youngsters who would like to be involved in the media.
With the radio station, this can also serve to help grow the talent of the youth who would like to pursue the music industry.
