Do you remember the anxiety Kenya was in during our last general election that seemingly went on for over a year? America is currently going through the same as the gear up for their mid-term elections tomorrow which will shape the nation for the next few years after a campaign that left it politically torn, at war with itself over race, and mourning tragedy.
The stakes are high ahead of the election as this is the first time the country will pass judgement on Donald Trump’s presidency since he took office in 2016.
The biggest question this election is set to answer is: will Republicans be able to keep control of both chambers of Congress? Or will Democrats win one, or both, thus gaining more power to limit Trump’s policy agenda?
To take control of the Senate, Democrats need to keep all the seats they currently hold, and take two further seats. To win a majority in the house, they need a net gain of 23 seats.
