The BIG problem with Mohamed Salah Identified

Sport pundit and Arsenal Invincible Martin Keown believes he has identified the big problem with Liverpool’s star Salah that was memorably substituted in the first half of the match in Kiev in May.

The Egyptian went down under a challenge from Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and dislocated his shoulder.

Liverpool lost the game 3-1, with goalkeeper Loris Karius making two howlers in the second half.

Salah has scored seven goals this season, including four in his last four appearances.

But Keown was not impressed with the 26-year-old in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal yesterday.

The former centre-back claimed Salah does not look the same player from last season, where he scored 44 goals in his first campaign at Anfield.

And Keown reckons the injury is still in the back of the forward’s mind, claiming he “doesn’t want to get hurt”.

“I look at Salah and he doesn’t look the real deal for me,” Keown said.

“When you really go for it and look at him, he was very quiet today.

“Something’s wrong, maybe the injury he had with his arm has affected him.

“He doesn’t want to get hurt for me, he’s not really the same player.”

The draw at the Emirates maintains Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

James Milner opened the scoring for the visitors with a smart finish.

Alexandre Lacazette equalised for Arsenal thought to make it 14 matches unbeaten for Unai Emery’s side.

Liverpool are back in Champions League action this Tuesday when they face a trip to Red Star Belgrade (5.55pm).
