The on and off relationship between socialite Vera Sidika and artiste Otile Brown unfolded like a scene from a TV drama series. One moment, the lovebirds would be flaunting their love and affection for each other, sunbathing on sandy shores like newlyweds.

And then the next day, they would be tearing at each other, airing their dirty linen in public, even composing diss songs.

But that love is now officially over, says the curvy Vera, claiming and that she does not want anything to do with Otile who “wasted her time.”

Vera Sidika says that even though she is ripe for marriage, she was always on birth control to avoid having a baby with Otile because she did not trust him.

“We used to have sex and after he finished, he would keep his member inside me for almost 10, to make sure that every drop counted in his attempt to make me pregnant. I didn’t trust him, so I took contraceptives,” says Vera.

Born and raised in Mombasa, Vera gained media attention when she appeared in P-Unit’s You Guy video released in 2012 andnhas kept gossip mills running ever since.Image result for You Guy video vera sidika

“I am focused on settling down. I am 29 years old now, have slowed down and want to settle, get married and have babies. I thought Otile was the one, but at 27 years, I didn’t think he was ready to be a father,” Vera added.

She denied rumours that she had aborted Otile’s baby.

“I want to start a family, so there is no way I could have aborted his child. I just made sure I could get pregnant for him. When I told him I have been taking birth control pills, he got so disappointed. I can’t commit to people who want to use me and waste my time. I am now ready to get married,” she said.

Vera blames herself for falling in love with the wrong man.

“He knew I was financially stable and that I have some projects coming up in Hollywood. So, he tried to make me pregnant so that he can secure his future.”

Vera says she dated Otile for five months, during which time he reportedly lived in her house without contributing a single shilling towards bills.

“When I stopped giving him money, he broke up with me. Then after a while, came begging me to take him back. Two days after I took him back, he asked me lend him Sh500,000 to top up the cash he had to buy a Mercedes Benz,” claimed Vera, who owns the Vera Sidika Beauty Parlour.

“As much as we love so deep, women do find it a turn-off when a man keeps asking for money,” said Vera when announcing the second break up.

“I have never even once in my life asked him for money. This time, it happened two days after our reconciliation and it ended up looking like the only reason he came back was for the money,” she said, and added that: “Because when I said I didn’t have the Sh500k, he went mute for one week and the next thing I knew, he was claiming that the relationship isn’t working.

“How do you give a man who isn’t your husband Sh500,000? Otile is emotionally immature,” she said.

But Otile counters that he was already a celeb when he met Vera.

The Mombasa-born singer, songwriter, actor and guitarist has come out to strongly defend himself against Vera’s allegations.

The Chaguo La Moyo singer claims that Vera is up to no good and wants to spoil his reputation and ruin his chances of dating in future.

“I promised myself that I won’t respond to the allegations until I realised that this was a mission to kill my career by making sure women hate me, because most of my fans are women. It’s seems like she’s succeeding in her mission,” Otile posted recently on Instagram.

He added that he never asked Vera to be a video vixen in his new song as she had early claimed.

Vera had earlier posted that just five days after the video was released, Otile ended their relationship.

“She is playing victim and it’s unbelievable because just a day before her posts, we had a proper meeting and concluded everything as grown-ups because the relationship wasn’t working for me.

“There is something she did that really turned me off and ever since, the relationship has been going south. It’s been marked by constant fights and I could feel the distance between us widening even when we’re together. The love was fading.

“I believe she wrote all that not because she’s hurting, but because she was afraid of how social media will react when the truth that we aren’t together came out,” Otile said, adding that he is already planning to move on, but felt that Vera’s move would sabotage his chances.

“She’s trying to portray me as a heartless man who takes advantage of women so that other queens would shun me,” he shared.

After their breakup, Vera claimed that Otile used her so that he could gain publicity.

But Otile says they were both celebrities when they met and he never had the intentions of using her to boost his musical career.

“After listening to my Baby Love song, she loved it and asked me to feature her in it.” he posted.

“At some point I even refused but after we went to Kisumu we discussed it and I agreed. DON’T STEAL MY SHINE AND GLORY we’ve only dated for 5 months when I was already a star. Have been popping for 2 years straight,” Otile posted.
