Gary Neville has hit back at Harry Redknapp on Twitter after receiving heaps of criticism from the former Tottenham manager on TalkSPORT. Redknapp slated Neville saying:

“I thought Gary’s comments were an absolute disgrace,”

“I can only comment on the three-and-a-half years I managed the club, and we weren’t gutless, we weren’t spineless, we weren’t pathetic, flaky or soft.

“It’s a disgrace to label people like Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Ledley King, Rafa van der Vaart, William Gallas, it’s a disgrace to talk about players saying they’re spineless and gutless.

“I was so disappointed and so upset by his comments. He was totally out of order.

“And listen, we can all come back – when he managed Valencia they were the worst Valencia team probably not just in the last 30 years but in their history.”

He finished by saying: “He wants to do his homework”

Gary Neville has replied on Twitter having done his homework on an Excel spreadsheet. He has compared his win percentage at Valencia with Redknapp’s at QPR and Birmingham and well, the numbers speak for itself.

At Valencia, Neville had a win percentage of 36%, compared to Redknapp’s 34% at QPR and B31% at Birmingham. The defeat percentage does not look good for Redknapp either as Neville recorded 39% in Spain. Redknapp at QPR lost 41% of his games whilst at Birmingham, he lost a whopping 62% of his games.

For a man, who got spanked 7-0 at the Camp Nou, Neville needs to show some respect to good old Uncle Red!
