Wherever people go, they always come back home and Man united star Paul Pogba has hinted that he could stay at Manchester United by commenting that the club will “forever” be his “home.”
The France international hasn’t always glowed for United since his return – although he played well in their 2-1 win over Everton at the weekend – and there has been speculation he could be looking for a move.
Jose Mourinho stripped Pogba of the vice-captaincy earlier in the season, while doubts over their relationship remain after pictures of a training ground row surfaced at the end of Spetember.
However, things seem to have cooled since with United now on a decent run in the league with seven points from their last three matches.
In an interview with RMC Sport, Pogba may have just put to bed speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona and Juventus.
“Coming back to Manchester United was like coming home. This has always been my home and it forever will be,” Pogba said.
Pogba’s comments in early September ignited the rumours over his future with a lukewarm response to whether he would be happy to stay at Old Trafford.
“My future is currently in Manchester,” Pogba told Sky in Germanyat the time.
“I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the near future.
“One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 per cent, no matter which coach I always give everything. I cannot say more.”
Pogba is always going to be welcomed at Old Trafford.
