If you you’re asked to give any award to President Uhuru Kenyatta which one would you prefer?
Most will give different ideas , but of course some will give negative feedback.
The President has been trying to push for various projects in order to achieve his Big Four Agenda which he has put as a priority. Most people have noted that the President is not interested in politics anymore.
President is now struggling with the issue of leaving a legacy. At least something that the Kenyans would say that the President achieved.
Despite various corruption cases which the President is struggling so hard to uproot in the country. His government has been accused of being involved in a number of corruption cases where the top government officials have squandered a lot of money.
The President though has forged milestones in bringing peace in the country through the handshake with the opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The move has calmed down the volatile heat that was rising between different communities after the 2018 General election which divided the country into various political groups.
After the handshake , the president has since focused on development agenda that includes all Kenyans across the different counties. Raila Odinga has been appointed with the African Union as their representative in Africa for Infrastructure development.
This peace deal has seen Kenya grow and stabilize economically unlike when the country was unsettled.
Today the President was feted by the Sikh Community .The award recognized the President’s effort in restoring peace and uniting the country.
