On Monday, Deputy President William Ruto paid Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka a courtesy call following the demise of his father, Peter Musyoka Mailu who passed on while undergoing treatment at Nairobi hospital.
The DP was in the company of the Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen who went to condole with the wiper Party leader at this trying moment.

Several other leaders also sent messages of condolence to Kalonzo, among the the ODM Party leader and NASA leader Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi, who was the first one to send a message of condolence to Kalonzo yesterday via his twitter account.
However, Kenyans on Twitter has seen DP Ruto’s visit as a way of finding his routes to ‘Ukambani.’
They have gone to react to Kalonzo’s post on twitter which aimed and praising Ruto for putting their political differences aside and condoling with him, citing that they had no any debt from Ukambani to pay Ruto.
In this case, the debt meant is the political support ahead of DP Ruto’s presidential bid in the 2022 politics. One of the twitter users cautioned Kalonzo, urging him not to associate with Ruto as his ‘tangatanga’ mission will enroute Ukambani just to confuse Kalonzo.

Another Kenyan on twitter was seen condemning politicians for only standing with themselves when bereaved whilst sidelining ‘common mwanachi’ when they get bereaved as well.
Only when one of your blood is dead. We don’t see u stupid politicians standing up for the dead poor wananchi killed by road accidents, thugs, police, lack of medical facilities, etc.
Glad that death knows no class & is inevitable all of us.
