Migori county women rep. Dr. Pamela Odhiambo was involved in a road accident and was rushed to Hospital this morning. Unfortunately, Odhiambo’s bodyguard Mr Owich lost his life in the accident.
“The accident took place at Winyo on Rongo-Homa Bay road at about 8am.
Pamela Odhiambo was heading to Homa Bay to join Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who has held public functions in the county for the past two days.
Migori County police boss Mr Joseph Nthenge said the driver of the Isuzu double cabin vehicle, Mr David Ouma, had tried to avoid hitting a motorcycle rider when he lost control. The vehicle is said to have rolled several times.
The woman representative and two others were taken to a Kisumu hospital after sustaining chest injuries.” wrote the nation
Kenyans have reacted to the same saying that Migori County is now covered in a dark cloud after the previous troubles that the Migori leaders are going through.
A couple months ago, the Migori county senator, Ben Oluoch died after battling throat cancer.
After his death, what followed was the arrest of the Migori Governor Okoth Obado after he was linked to the murder of Sharon Otieno.
Not so long after he was released on bail, misfortune strike again as the women rep has today been involved in an accident.
Already, Kenyans and other leaders are sending condolences and quick recovery messages to the involved.

“We have received disturbing news about Migori Women Representative Hon Dr Pamela Odhiambo being involved in a grisly road accident this morning. I wish the MP quick recovery.
My deep and sincere condolences to the family of Dr Odhiambos body guard Mr Owich who, unfortunately, lost his life in the accident.” Reads Odinga’s tweet
