The two  told the court that they were acting under instructions from  Eddlied Mandi Jilani.

The DPP wants the accused to testify against Jilani who is reported to have hired them for the hit job.

The prosecutor in their case asked Principal Magistrate Lilian Lewa to have the state strike a deal with the accused and offer them a lighter sentence.

The two convicts are being held in Nyali Police Station.

Buni and Charo, through their lawyer Daniel Wamotsa, had applied to be set free on bond.

The lawyer argued that the two had been tortured by officers while serving time at the Nyali Police Station.
