Controversial gospel artist Willy Paul has today taken to social media to react to the insults thrown at him yesterday after he shared a video showing off money.
The controversial Gospel artist has been having a rough time with Kenyans who criticize him for both his music and his character. Mostly his character. A section of Kenyans had earlier complained that he is misleading those who look up to him as a role model.
Some Kenyans praised him for the video and maybe just to be sarcastic. Kenyan rapper , the real OG Khaligraph Jones being among those who reacted to the video assuring Willy Paul that it is totally fine.. ” Haha buda hapo sawa’ he says.
But even the real OG got a piece of the bitter pie, with some Kenyans complaining that instead of giving him advice, he is encouraging the situation.
His money his rules …but a number of Kenyans went ahead to question his character saying that it is so immature of him and warned him that pride comes before a fall. Even went to the extent of saying that he should change his ways….
But does he care? Well the artist says that he will continue shining forward in Jesus Name.
In my opinion, from gospel to secular artists there is a tendency of wanting to remain relevant by doing the extra ordinary even if it means going to the extremes a culture that is entertained and praised.
