Major roads in Nairobi County will be closed on Sunday, October 28,2018 motorists seeking to access or leave Nairobi City Centre have been advised to use alternative routes starting midnight into the afternoon.
The diversion of traffic of the major roads is for preparations and safety of participants during the race.
The National Police Service and organizers of the 15th Edition Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon said those seeking to access the city centre from Mombasa Road will as from Sunday midnight to 4:00 a.m use Lusaka Road roundabout via Madaraka roundabout, then proceed to Mbagathi Way to enter the city through Valley Road.
