Here’s the new attack on sponsors by Beryl Owano(watch)

Utafilisika” is my 7th single off my upcoming album. The song touches on Immorality especially the Sponsor/Sugar Mummy syndrome that has crippled our society. It equates the thought to both genders who find themselves tangled in this web. As much as we point fingers at the ladies for being involved with the “Sponsors”, there is need to also warn the “Sponsors” on consequences and dangers of extra marital affairs on the family and society at large. Lets teach our girls to love themselves and know their worth and value in the society.

Her journey in the music has not been a smooth ride this was her confession a year ago.

When Beryl recorded her first song, “Hot in Jesus” soon after completing high school, the reception was so poor that she almost gave up in her career.

“People, mostly friends and family, told me to give up on the song. I ended up abandoning the song and quit music temporarily.”

Beryl has however made progress  during the short time she has been in the music industry.

Other songs that she is known for are;Slowly a collabo she did with Tanzanian artist Matonya, namtafuta mafisi and me&you.
