Dr. Miguna Miguna who has been out of the country for quite a while after a deportation drama. This happened after Miguna Miguna swore in Raila Odinga at Uhuru park in a controversial manner.
The #MashujaaDay2018 should be about fearlessness, courage and integrity in the struggle against injustices, inequalities and excesses in our society. Those who perpetuate, support or surrender to injustices, oppression or inequality under the guise of peace cannot be #Mashujaa .

The series of arrests made Miguna to be arrested and was detained for some time before his lawyers fought for his release. Miguna was then issued orders to be taken back to Canada as being an illegal immigrant.
His return was again full of drama as he was forced to fight for his entry which proved futile.
Mr. @RailaOdinga: Practice what you preach. I was born in Kenya, just like you. I have never renounced my Kenyan citizenship. I was your senior most adviser from 2008-2011. I vied for the position of governor in 2017. Fight for JUSTICE; not HandCheques! #MashujaaDay2018 #Mashujaa

Miguna has since remained in Canada but has grown to become a critic of Raila Odinga for what he termed as betrayal of their struggle through accepting the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
This move which was unexpected made the self declared National Resistance Movement General so mad a his political allies who he fought so hard alongside to end election irregularities in the country.
Miguna fought for the rights of those who were on NASA side so hard to get their rights which he said the Presidential elections were not held in a regular manner.
In a number of occasions he referred to Mr. Raila Odinga has the legitimate President of the People’s Republic of Kenya. This was viewed as disregarding the presidency that led to his arrest.
