Breaking News: Sonko Won’t Vie For Gubernatorial Seat in 2022.

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi “Sonko” declared that he wont vie for the gubernatorial position in 2022.

Speaking during the Mashujaa Celebrations in Nairobi where he was presiding Sonko called it to and end of Nairobi Politics once he his done with his first term in office.

Mike Sonko said he has so many enemies who are trying to frustrate his quality service delivery to the people of Nairobi.

Sonko in a number of occasions have complained about people whom he call the inside people who are trying to sabotage his efforts of delivering his campaign pledges to the people of Nairobi.

Sonko also said that he is committed and very passionate about the county of Nairobi but he can’t manage with the cartels that are silently calling shots.

This comes as the Governor is still trying to figure out the replacement to the office of the Deputy Governor who call it to a quit  the position terming the same reasons Sonko is not interested to rule Nairobi for the second term.

Mike Sonko was once running the city from his home town Machakos for what he termed as security reasons from the same cartels who are busy sabotaging the effort to develop Nairobi.

Sonko at one time suggested  Dr. Miguna Miguna to come and be his deputy because of his strong stand against cartels and underground operations but Miguna who is still in Canada turned down the offer.

Now Mike Sonko has come out publicly to denounce his need to vie for a second term as the Governor of Nairobi county.
