Politician and Former Senator for Kakamega County, Boni Khalwale today posted a photo of school buses that he apparently bought for schools in Kakamega.
The politician bragged about the school buses in a tweet disguised as a ‘welcome note’ to the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President, William Ruto ahead of the Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kakamega County.
As we welcome President @UKenyatta & D/President @WilliamsRuto in presiding over the Kakamega Mashujaa Day, am pleased that the buses that I bought for Musingu/Makhokho/Eregi/Bushiangala/Shikunga/Shikokho/Shiamusinjili Secondary schools are of help.#welcome2KakamegaMashujaaDay pic.twitter.com/rQfwjZ9cP4

KOT hit back at the politician who claimed that he bought the buses failing to recognize that it is the taxpayer’s money that did.
