Celebrations are not over yet as Kenya’s very own artist Nyashinski has been nominated as the Best African act in MTV EMA 2018 nominations.
According to wikipedia, The 2018 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) will be held at the Bizkaia Arena (Bilbao Exhibition Centre) in Barakaldo, near Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain, on 4 November 2018. The host of the ceremony will be Hailee Steinfeld. This will be the third time that Spain has hosted the awards show.
Nyashinski is making good progress and he is a an artist that is celebrated both locally and internationally.
Recently, Rapper Nyashinski among the five Kenyan brands awarded the YouTube Silver Play Button Award by Google. The Silver Play Button Award is given to YouTube content creators who reach or surpass the 100,000 subscriber mark.
Besides from the silver play button, the other awards given include the Gold and Diamond.
Diamond Play Button, which is the highest ranked award, is given to the channels that attain the 10 million subscriber mark while Gold 1 million subscribers.
